Newport Beach, CA (August 28, 2020) – For the second year in a row, Poppy Life Care has been named among the Top-Rated Nonprofits by GreatNonprofits, a leading website featuring reviews and comments on more than 1 million charities and nonprofit organizations. The 2020 Top-Rated Nonprofit award designation is given to organizations that have received highly favorable reviews during a designated time period from donors, volunteers and supporters.
“As a young, startup non-profit organization, Poppy Life Care being granted this honor for the second time in a row is both humbling and inspirational,” said Erica Solis, Poppy Life Care Founder and Executive Director. “We rolled out many new programs since the last time we were given this designation, and we will strive to maintain that momentum as we develop more programs and services to help families dealing with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety and depression.”
Among the programs recently launched are virtual programs in Meditation, Therapeutic Yoga and Mindfulness. In addition, Poppy Life Care’s Nutritional Program features online educational components to help clients improve their cognitive health by becoming better informed about food choices and overall nutrition. In addition, a subscription-only newsletter – Eat Well, Be Well – features nutrition-focused articles, recipes and other exclusive content.
Partnerships that bring additional services to Poppy Life Care clients in the areas of Life Coaching for special needs families, college consulting for neurodiverse or learning-disabled teens, and character-building activity programs round out the offerings that Poppy Life Care has debuted over the last year.
