Informed by her own childhood and family experiences, Poppy Life Care Founder Erica Solis learned early on about the impact that spectrum disorders and mental health concerns like anxiety and depression can have on a family. Not knowing where to turn, she was discouraged by the lack of information, resources, and mental and emotional support available. In 2018, Poppy Life Care was born.
Backed by scientific research and traditional wellness therapies, the organization was founded to provide families and children with access to holistic practices and interdisciplinary programs that support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families. Weaving together yoga, music therapy, behavioral therapy, nutritional education, and other wellness disciplines, Poppy Life Care creates holistic programs that treat individuals in their entirety.
Through its 501(c)3, the Poppy Life Care Foundation partners with Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California, and offers a wide range of in-person mindfulness and wellness therapies to serve the community’s emotional needs and assist families living with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. This service is provided completely free of charge thanks to the generous financial support provided to the Poppy Life Care Foundation by its partners, the community, and volunteers.
