Maria is excited to be part of the PLC team and brings with her a diverse background in working within various healthcare marketplaces and across industry teams. Her passion for serving and improving the quality of life for communities, families, children, and individuals seeking better healthcare options has led her to build a career in healthcare management.

Maria earned her Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz (Go Slugs!) and holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration. She is eager to contribute to the team and believes that good leaders help develop and grow other leaders, just like you!

In her free time, Maria enjoys keeping up with her teenage mutant ninja turtle daughters, who always update her on the latest TikTok trends. She also loves cooking traditional Ecuadorian dishes with her family, going to concerts and festivals, and traveling the world whenever she can!
